more colorado

colorado is still cold...but otherwise sunny and generally fantastic. yesterday morning we went to a restaurant called toast for breakfast. julia was trying to hide from the camera in the picture below because she wanted everyone to focus on how cool her french toast was.


after breakfast, we took finn (chris and julia's dog) for a run in washington park. it was gorgeous outside.



today, i went skiing at a-basin with alberto, one of my friends from the ride to alaska who also happens to do motion analysis related work. he's going to be at the conference with me this week. this is me at the top of montezuma bowl.


we got stuck on the lift for awhile, and ended up taking pictures to kill time. everyone cheered when we eventually started again.


this is alberto and i at the end of the day. it was a gorgeous day to ski!
